Career Partner is committed to your privacy and adheres to the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000) and the National Privacy Principles.

Career Partner will collect and use your personal information for purposes relating to employment in general.

Collection of Personal information from you is necessary to assist in seeking suitable employment placement and related services.

What information is collected?
Your work history and resume
Reference checks, results of assessments, performance feedback
Copies of qualifications, licences, tickets etc
Medical records pertaining to employment
Any other information you provide to Career Partner

How will your information be stored?
Your information will be stored on our data base and files and held on record for a period of time as deemed necessary and your information will be used primarily used for employment placement and related services. At your request we will destroy your information in a safe manner unless prevented by any law.

Your records will be held securely at our premises and safeguards are in place to ensure security of your information, against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure, and against other misuses; and prevent unauthorised use or disclosure of information contained in the record.

Access to your information
You shall be entitled to have access to your own personal record, except to the extent that Career Partner is required or authorised to refuse to provide the individual with access to that record under the applicable provisions of any law of the Commonwealth that provides for access by persons to records containing personal information.

Alteration of records containing personal information
If it is found your personal information is not accurate please contact our privacy officer and we will make appropriate corrections, deletions and additions as are, in the circumstances, reasonable to ensure that the record is accurate and is, having regard to the purpose for which the information was collected or is to be used and to any purpose that is directly related to that purpose, relevant, up to date, complete and not misleading.
