Career Partner Recruitment Methodology

  • Taking the brief
    We meet with your organisation (ideally at your workplace) to review the Position Description if available. If the Position Description is not available we can profile the role and write one for you. We then gain a first hand understanding of your business and culture to ensure we find you the right talent and the best fit.
  • Talent sourcing strategy
    Career Partner have a comprehensive talent bank and connections ensuring a vast talent pool of candidates to source from.
  • We have strategic alliances within the recruitment industry.
  • We will advise you of other strategies that may be required for success, including direct target, print media advertising. This depends on the role and your requirements.
  • Co-ordination of Recruitment.
  • Initial Screening
    Career Parter conducts initial screening of candidates, taking enquiries, proactive targeting of identified candidates and supply a short list of candidates to recruit from that fit within our own Code of Conduct.
  • Meet and Greet
    We meet with candidates where possible to initially provide an overview for them and to gather important information on their potential suitability for the position. For candidates out of the area we initially meet and greet by phone.
  • Competency/Behavioural Interviewing
    "Behavioural interviewing identifies how a candidate has performed in the past and past behaviour is an excellent indicator of future behaviour."
    This approach in conjunction with our other processes, provides an accurate prediction of job performance. Behavioural interviewing allows the interviewer to gather evidence that the candidate possesses the critical capabilities required for successful job performance. It is these critical capabilities, called competencies that identify the very best performers in a given job.
  • Comprehensive Consultant Profile
    We provide a detailed summary on all the short listed candidates. These comments will include a summary of the candidates' background, achievements, motivations and career interests.
  • Validated Assessments
    Validated assessments are an important part of our recruitment at Career Partner. We have the best assessments available including skills assessments, personality profiling, safety assessments, aptitude assessments and psyche assessments.
  • Most assessments are included in our recruitment service as standard. Psyche and personality profiling are generally charged at cost to your organisation additional to the recruitment fee.
  • Reference Checking
    Valuable information is gained from reference checking and is an important part of our recruitment. We will provide you with information gained from reference checking. We investigate the candidates' prior employment and speak with the relevant contacts to ascertain the candidates' performance against the key criteria and competencies required for in the position being considered.
  • So you're ready to Interview
    Career Partner will make all the arrangements and co-ordinate the interview process for your organisation confirming all details with you as our client as well as keeping the candidate informed.
  • You have selected a Candidate
    Career Partner will advise the selected candidate of the offer and advise not successful candidates and provide them with feedback. If you like we can co-ordinate start dates letters of offers etc on your behalf. We are here to provide a service of excellence to you and individualise our services to meet your needs.
  • Career Partner Post Placement Service
    Our service includes formal review dates to measure both candidate/client satisfaction once the placement has occurred and we maintain contact with you and the candidate to ensure mutual satisfaction. Should any areas of concern arise we will facilitate communication to ensure the situation is resolved satisfactorily.
